What happens after you send them?
- Your four details go to the removals firm named under the form.
- The firm gets in touch on the number you give. It takes calls from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
- The firm looks at your home, in person or by video link, then quotes. You decide whether to go ahead.
Sending the form or ringing does not commit you to anything.
What helps the quote match your move?
Have these ready when the firm gets in touch:
- the date or window you have in mind, and whether it hangs on a completion day
- which floor each home is on, and whether there is a lift
- where a van can stand at each end, and whether either street is in a resident permit zone
- anything heavy or awkward to carry
Why mention parking early?
BCP Council's daily waiver for tradespeople is not valid in loading bays or on yellow lines with a loading ban. Its page does not mention house moves. BCP Council closes Poole Quay to motor vehicles from 1 April to 31 October, between 10am and 10pm, and the page lists no exemptions or loading hours in the closure itself. If either end of your move is tight for parking, say so when the firm gets in touch. Council pages read in November 2026.
