Who runs this site?
Poole Bay Removals is run by ContentWorks, the trading name of Dan Jaques, a sole trader. ContentWorks builds the site and runs the phone line. It is responsible for the details you send through them. Its address is on the privacy notice and terms pages.
ContentWorks does not carry out moves itself.
About Moving Professionals
Moving Professionals Ltd carries out the moves. Your contract for the move is with it, on its own terms. Its website is movingprofessionals.co.uk. It takes calls from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, and quotes after looking at your home, in person or by video link. The Google reviews and rating on the home page are reviews of Moving Professionals.
The firm handles house and flat moves, packing, storage, office moves and long-distance moves. This site covers Poole and the towns around it: Bournemouth, Christchurch, Wimborne, Ferndown, West Moors, Lytchett Matravers, Wareham, Corfe Castle, Swanage and Studland. Moves to or from anywhere in Great Britain are taken too.
What happens to the details you send?
They go to the removals firm named above, so it can get in touch about your move. Calls to the number on this site are recorded. The privacy notice says who receives your details, why, and how long they are kept.
Where do the facts on this site come from?
Parking, permit and access facts come from BCP Council's own pages. Figures on flats come from the 2021 Census, published by the Office for National Statistics. Facts about the removals firm come from its own website and the details it gave this site. Each fact names its source, and each page shows the month it was checked.
Council rules change. Check with the council before you rely on one for moving day.
